Search for sold properties by estate agent

Options
Is there a way to search for houses sold by a specific agent on Zoopla or anywhere else?

A specific estate agent in my area uses guide prices e.g. where one agent will specify an asking price of £180,000, they will specify a guide price of: £170,000-£190,000. I am interested to know what houses sell for that have a guide price.

Zoopla allows you to drill down into a sold property and look at the advert (therefore you are able to compare the guide price to the sold price). However, I am having to look for every property sold in my location to see if it was sold by the estate agent in question.

  • I don't think there is a simple way unfortunately. If there isn't immanent found one. I look at rightmoves 'recently removed from the market' ones as that says who sold it, and it says what the price was if it sold. But it's long winded and you don't necessarily find what you need.

Thanks. How do you search for 'recently removed from the market'.
  • It's under the house prices tab, then price comparison report. Some may have simply been removed but some have sold and wants the land registry updates you can see what it sold for and cross references against what it was marketed for

Go to Sold Properties on Rightmove. Punch in the postcode. Each property which had a Rightmove listing is highlighted in blue (I think it's blue). Go into the listing and you can often click on the brochure link or just check the RM asking price.

The long term solution is to monitor the asking prices as they come to market, store them (spreadsheet or similar) and look at Zoopla for sold prices every month. Then match up the sold price to what you stored for the asking price.
