    Hi

Have you seen the new WORK WEAR crocs?

I need SAFFRON, have only found on sweetfeet and jellyegg, and only in my size on jellyegg, any discounts around. They are £50 so must have a discount.

    Thanks
  • Glad you are asking about SAFFRON, had email with these on last night and I must have them. Fab for work with black trousers. Bit worried though as I have wide feet and they look a bit narrow. Has anyone got them and able to offer any advice please?

We could all learn a little something from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

stephj - I want similar - I want a pair of pure white 'sandal' style shoes that are comfortable for beach/city/touristy activites and I know Crocs would be perfect but can't find a style/colour like this. :(

Hiya, don't know if you've seen the juju jellies style of shoes? jujujellies dot co dot uk.

There are some ok styles, although there's not a lot of white- but plenty of clear/silver which I might be inclined to go for as I'm getting desperate now. (Only 2 weeks left until the holiday)
I'll probably go for the petra style in clear; they look fairly decent to walk in and I can splash about in the sea too, without worrying about treading on jellyfish etc. lol

I've just received 2 pairs of Beach Crocs from Taylors shoes in the USA. One of the pairs is fine, but I've got a pair of Sea Blue Beach crocs and they are nothing like any of my other pairs.
    • They don't seem to be finished off properly, especially around the rivets.
    • They don't say "Crocs" on the back of the strap (it's blank).
    • The Croc logo has been glued onto the rivets on one side of the shoe, it is slightly different to the normal logo. The other side of the shoe has a black rivet with no logo at all.
    • They don't say www.crocs.com or "Boulder, Colorado" underneath (all my other pairs do).
    • The Crocs logo underneath is in a different font.
    • There is no "official" Crocs label attached to the shoes (all my other pairs had this).
Mystery solved! I emailed Crocs (who didn't reply) and Taylor shoes (who did). Apparently the ones I received are really old stock from when Crocs were first made, and they have been improved since. So they're not fakes, but they're not as good as the Crocs available now. I think Taylor's should have stated this on their site, as I wouldn't have ordered them if I'd known this in advance (unless they had a discount!). I don't think Taylor's should be charging full price for really old stock that isn't up to the usual Crocs standard. It's put me off ordering from them again, think I'll stick to UK retailers in the future.

That's not right. If I were you I'd ask for a partial refund. I've dealt with Taylors several times and always been pleased with their service but this would definitely put me off. Perhaps a link to these messages may make them rethink ;)
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
