I've just received 2 pairs of Beach Crocs from Taylors shoes in the USA. One of the pairs is fine, but I've got a pair of Sea Blue Beach crocs and they are nothing like any of my other pairs (I have 12 at the last count!)
    • They don't seem to be finished off properly, especially around the rivets.
    • They don't say "Crocs" on the back of the strap (it's blank).
    • The Croc logo has been glued onto the rivets on one side of the shoe, it is slightly different to the normal logo. The other side of the shoe has a black rivet with no logo at all.
    • They don't say www.crocs.com or "Boulder, Colorado" underneath (all my other pairs do).
    • The Crocs logo underneath is in a different font.
    • There is no "official" Crocs label attached to the shoes (all my other pairs had this).
I've posted some photos of them here if anyone would like to have a look and advise me. I was going to contact Taylors but want to make sure I've got my facts right first! Thank you :)

Out of 3 pairs here to hand, two say 'Canada' and another says 'Mexico' - all bought in the States from Crocs shop. But the rivets are smooth on inside and both have Crocs logo moulded on back strap.

can you email both Taylors and Crocs the photos and ask for their comments?

I wish there were more white crocs available. I'd like a pair of Athens crocs so I can wear them on the beach with my white swimsuit. But the nearest thing is white and turquoise, which just isn't good enough!!! Really frustrated because I want plastic shoes which won't gnaw away at my feet (other jelly shoes are very good at shredding my feet up).

Anyone seen a miraculous white pair of crocs? (which will look nice on a beach?) I'll give you a massive virtual hug if you can help me :D

stephj - I want similar - I want a pair of pure white 'sandal' style shoes that are comfortable for beach/city/touristy activites and I know Crocs would be perfect but can't find a style/colour like this. :(

I'm so glad it's not just me! I'm looking for white sandals types too (rather than flip flips, which I've never got along with). They need to be VERY soft, squishy and flexible and look good enough that I won't be embarrassed going out in public lol
If I happen to come across something on my internet travels, I'll let you know.

    :)

just checked son's and they have 'Italy' and the other is 'Mexico' but there again, both have the crocs logo moulded on the strap and smooth rivets rather than the hole that you have

i have some made in usa, mexico, italy, china and romania

some of them have different tread on the bottoms so they can vary slightly

the sizes can also vary depending on which country they were made in

they are all genuine and have been purchased from reputable retailers

Thanks for that, it wasn't the tread that worried me (or the size, that's ok) but the fact that they're poorly finished off, don't have the Crocs normal rivets on, don't have Crocs embossed on the strap or a Crocs official label etc. I've done as Chris25 suggested and emailed Crocs head office, will also contact Taylors.

i was just giving a couple of examples of the differences they can have. there are more - the crocs wording can also be in a different font, and the sizing can be displayed differently too. i have received some without labels too.

i'm sure they will be genuine as taylors are a reputable retailer, but let us know what they say
