Hi all fellow croc's wearers. It's my little girl's 2 nd birthday next week she loves my Croc's I'm thinking of getting her a pair, does anyone's little one wear them I'm just worried they don't provide enough support for such vulnerable tootsie. Do you think 2 is too young for them. She takes a 7 1/2 H . Any advice appreciated.Booo!!!0

After much deliberation I ordered myself a pair of Athens in Charcoal/Cotton Candy. I must say, I'm rather disappointed with the colour of them. The 'Charcoal' is a very cheap looking shiny, silvery grey. They are very comfy though, so will probably keep them - but may not bother ordering any more without seeing 'in the flesh' first.Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0

My DD is 2 and she wears the Croclings. The caymens didnt stay on her and the mary janes didnt fit well but the Croclings are great and she loves them.
I dont let her wear them all the time as they are not properly fitted but she wears them a fair amount and they have been fine.2012 wins approx £11,000 including 5k to spend on a holiday :j0 -

Hello- a newbie here.
I've just read the entire crocs thread - phew! You lot certainly are addicted LOL
A question though - I have problems with shoes in that I have very wide feet. If they were narrower I would be a uk size 7 but as it is I have to go for an 8 generally. Do you think I should go for a size 7 or 8 in the crocs (was thinking cayman or maybe beach)?
Or is it just a case of trying them on first? I would like to order them from Taylors as has been recommended here but am stumped by the differences in sizes depending on country of manufacture and the fact that your feet aren't supposed to touch the sides.
thanks!

I think you may be better off with the Beach style as they are generally recognised as being wider fitting than the Cayman. I find the sizing to be generous, so you should be ok with a 7 if that's your normal size.
They are very 'moreish' though, so be prepared to spend lots on several different colours (not very MSE) - after all, a girl needs a pair of Crocs to match every outfit!!!
I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Please forgive me for I have sinned
I already own 2 pairs of caymans but was tempted into a pair of Gekkos (sp?) yesterday in a moment of weakness. I was tempted by the lovely pink and diamonds encrusted into the shoes and you all know that diamonds are a girls best friend don't you! (Come on, help make me feel better about this girls please!)
They were half the price and not half as comfy so that will teach me never to sin again won't it!My second favorite household chore is ironing. My first being, hitting my head on the top bunk bed until I faint.-Erma Bombeck-~ Member of the MSE Celebdaq Minileague ~0 -
The way I look at it for "fun" ones or colours I maybe wouldn't wear everyday I reckon its okay to go for lookalikes provided they are cheap enough :j
And I do know what you mean about not being as comfortable, the white and floral ones from the last thread that I bought are a totally different "shape" and very neat over the top of my foot so not nearly as comfy0 -

I'm disappointed with the colour of my Pearl/Lavender Athens too - the 'pearl' is a disgusting washed out grey colour. Not what I would call Pearl!0 -

Was desperate for a pair of comfy shoes and I am now gutted. Can't wear them with anything other than full length jeans as i'd look stupid.
Do i keep or sell on ebay? Decisions, decisions.
Are there any alternative - anything come in a narrow fitting.
Thanks
