Does anyone know how Hooley shoes compare to crocs. They are selling these on the animal rescue site and they seem very similar.

They are similar but personally I think they are a bit overpriced for a lookalike.

I soooo want some of those! OH laughed last night when I told him :o

Lost my post there to say I think I want some of them too :o

pudding try wearing the Crocs that rub with a pair of socks about the house to "wear" them in. I had to do this in Florida as my feet were about twice the size they should be from the flight and rubbed quite badly.

    Hello- a newbie here.

I've just read the entire crocs thread - phew! You lot certainly are addicted LOL

A question though - I have problems with shoes in that I have very wide feet. If they were narrower I would be a uk size 7 but as it is I have to go for an 8 generally. Do you think I should go for a size 7 or 8 in the crocs (was thinking cayman or maybe beach)?

Or is it just a case of trying them on first? I would like to order them from Taylors as has been recommended here but am stumped by the differences in sizes depending on country of manufacture and the fact that your feet aren't supposed to touch the sides.

    thanks!

I'm a Crocaholic and proud of it :D

First of I would suggest you try them on somewhere locally, use this to find your nearest stockist.

    http://www.crocsfootwear.co.uk/stores/index.php

However, you get a far better range of styles and colours by ordering online and absolutely the best range at https://www.taylorshoes.com but its best to try them on first in any colour just to see how they fit on you.

Cayman and Beach are very similar but Cayman go by the correct size whereas Beach are a bit bigger and they go in small/med/large etc. You'll find a size guide on Taylors as they obviously are US sizing.

UK websites for ordering online are..

There are a couple of others that I have on another pc but thats few for you to be going on with just now.

I have put something similar on MSE before so apologies to anyone reading the same thing. On the same day I bought DD1 Holey Soles and DD2 Crocs the Holey Soles are not lasting as well and appear more scuffed, which despite cleaning is not resolving. DD1 is now desperate for her Not Fake Crocs as she puts it. In my opinion you get what you pay for. Though if I can get Crocs originals cheaper all the better.

I am the same. I am a 7 but sometimes have to have 8 for width. I have a pair of Caymans in a 7. They are generally very comfy but when I wore them all day and walked a lot in the hot weather they did rub my little toes slightly. But I think an 8 in them would be too big for me.
