My parents are the registered owners of the vehicle, and this particular scenario is in Wales. I'm gonna talk to my manager next time I'm working. Thanks

And so I also hope you've told Mum and Dad that when the Notice to Owner arrives (for that is what Smart Parking misleadingly call their Notice) they must simply submit the template first appeal online, which you've read about in the NEWBIES sticky thread. The template is right there to copy in full, or shorten by removing the 'threat of charging them money' at the end, if it doesn't all fit in the stupid Smart Parking appeals wordcount box.

Smart are easy to beat. If anyone pays this they need their head examining so don't let them! If Mum and Dad are a bit of a pushover or 'old-school' or overly proud of not having debts (but not streetwise about this sort of thing), and would be likely to fall for the whole scam and pay up when they get a 'Notice to Owner' then APPEAL NOW INSTEAD, same template, in their name online.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
