New tyres - front or rear?

    And I wondered if I'd get a response! Interesting debate.

    Just to let you all know, front and rear are same size (I'm not such a muppet as to suggest swopping them otherwise!); it's FWD; and I decided to move the semi-worn front to the rear, and put new ones on the front.

    ESP doesn't prevent aquaplaning - there is no adhesion to work with. ESP helps with the aftermath.
