I bought an Oak ottoman double bed on 20/03/2014 through Wowcher and it was delivered on 2/4/2014. I assembled it on Saturday. However, there are several problems.
Firstly, the bed is not the same as the picture on their website. It looks very similar but the details are different. They are giving the misleading information about the product. Actually, the picture of your product is called Arran Oak Ottoman Storage Bed in other websites. Arran Oak Ottoman Storage Bed is very different from what I got, like the base of mattress. So, they may just use other people’s photo to mislead the customers.
Secondly, the details of the bed are very poor. For example, there is a bad scratch on the back of the headboard.
Thirdly, the slats are very difficult to fix on the frame. There are two pieces that can be fixed.
Then, both gas lifts are not working.
I am extremely disappointed. Considering the time to assemble and disassemble and distress I have been caused by this purchase, I do not want to post it back. So can I get some kind of compensation? Any suggestions?

Get in touch with them and ask them to pick it up for a full refund under SOGA.
As for distress and compensation good luck.Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz0 -
As above, you have 7 days from receipt to reject it under the SOGA for a full refund.
What does their returns policy say about who pays return postage?Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

Thanks for reply. I called and sent some photos today and was told they will contact the manufacturer. They will let me know in several days. Hope it is just mistake.
BTW, terms and conditions says: the buyer pays the delivery if return.0 -

E.g. you simply decide you don't like the look of it and wish to return it.
SoGA states that the seller must cover all costs of providing the remedy if the fault is inherent.0 -
have you got the gas struts the right way around? the OH sells beds and gets a fair few people with the same issue and 9/10 the struts are upside down.
he also just said to me that they will not work unless the mattress is on as it needs the weight of the mattress (I don't know if you have put the mattress on yet)
hope this helps a little0 -
I think I'd better put on some pictures, which will show what I mean-poor quality. But I cannot load a picture here.
Thanks for advice. I will try gas lifts again tomorrow.0
