advise

My wife has received a letter to attend a work focussed interview at the local Job Centre

Can some one please advise what the are going to ask and what the are going to do as this the first time in her life she is attending such interview

    It's impossible for anyone here to answer that question I'm afraid.

    It depends on so many factors- what benefit she receives if any, any children you have, your living arrangements etc- only you know your circumstances. It may be a simple updating of her situation or an investigation, attempt to get her into work, etc.

    well we have been married for 10 years and she has been in this country for the same amount of time and has applied for jobs before but the ask the question do you have London exp She has never claimed any benefits


    I have been out of work for 6 months plus and get JSA and Housing benefits

    So have you told the DWP? Or have you been claiming as a single person? Sounds like you have been black hole scanned...

    Sounds like a WFI partner interview. If so, it is mandatory that she attends, they will tell of help available if she wants it, anything else is voluntary. She can say 'no thanks' or yes please and take the help offered.

    well when i filled form advised married and have son ?
