I clicked on the picture in the comp post and it opened in a pop-up window It's a seriously long url, which is why I made it a link!

I tried to put that seriously long link in and it spat that out too, how do you make them into links? Started posting a few this week so should learn how to do it for future comps

First open the page you want to link to (in this case the long url)

Copy the full url.

In your MSE post, highlight the word you want to link to (I usually use 'here' or 'link' or something), then select the hyperlink symbol in the toolbar, paste the original long url in there then click OK

Sorry to be picky but as it's a short end date and so that end date compers don't miss it, please could you amend the end date to tomorrow, the 6th?

- The Competition will start on Friday 4th April 2014 (the “Opening Date”).
- The Competition will end at 11:59pm (GMT) on Sunday 6th April 2014 (the “ClosingDate”).
- The winners will be notified by 5pm (GMT) on Tuesday 7th April 2014. (the “Notification Date”).

Just to point out that you need to enter via the app linked from the post NOT comment with the answer on the post as lots of people seem to have thought you have to do!
