Cat blanket- size please!

I have seen a rescue asking for cat blankets and I think I have some that would do. However I need an idea of the size! E-mailed the charity but no response.
Please can anyone suggest what would be a reasonable, average size?

That doesn't answer the question. I have time to make some now, not later, so would like an idea!

sorry - i thought you already had blankets?

i regularly take bedding, old towels, duvets, pillows, curtains etc to our local dog rescue, they get all sorts from me, so i've no idea what the size requirement is.

If your not sure, the I would make some the size of a couple of cushions together, so even a large cat can lie on them.
I took a rescue some of my old blankets that had holes in and they were very grateful. Basically I think anything will do.

Thanks that just gives me an idea of what might be the most useful. I have some woolly cushion covers which can be rejigged as cat blankets! (I wouldn't have thrown them away!)
