ok cetelem (a company i had totally forgotten i owe) have sold my two accounts to two companies, now as far as i know they aren't debt collection or anything (since found out they are) well anyway i sent cetelem letter1 asking for all details on charges etc and they sent my letter back saying i'd have to contact these other people, i have sent them the letter asking for the details, but when it comes to asking them for money who is liable to credit me? cetelem or the two companies they sold my accounts to? and would they have to? i mean i opened an account with hfc under the same principle as cetelem....store credit:mad: and hfc have paid up so in theary these two new companies should to right?
Just for reference the two companies are Lowell and 1st Credit ltd
cheers guys n chins up, keep fighting! im digging out all my old accounts and getting money off them it feels wonderful :j

It would be cetelem.
You owed them the debt at the time and it was them that charged you. Even though they still sold your account they should still have a record of your statements. Sounds like they are trying to fob you off.
If they dont give you them I would get in touch with FO for them to try get them for you.0 -
thankyou!

Sorry FO is Financial Ombudsman
