Dubai hotels with Expedia

Has anyone booked a dubai hotel with Expedia? Getting mixed messages - some say that the hotel add 20% taxes on when you get there, on their web page it says includes all taxes (but small print says other fees may be incurred) have tried asking them but get a very vague answer. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't know if this will help... but i booked direct with a dubai hotel and 20% was added to the bill, 2 different 10% taxes, i did know about this before booking and was expecting it.
I have been looking for a hotel later in the year and Opodo was cheaper than expedia, worth a look if you haven't already done so. I suspect that the taxes will be added on but can't be sure.
