Can someone give me some pros and cons for both phones. I'm thinking of waiting for the note 4 to be released in October as I'm hoping android 5 will be available on that model or some type of downloadable upgrade.

            I went for the S4 but now regret not going for the Note 3, not that the S4 isn't any good it's an excellent phone. The reason was I thought the Note 3 would be too big compared to the S4.0

            You are going to need to see both models when they arrive .
 Android 5 is all speculation at the moment as to what it is .
 Plus both of those models are Samsung and not running generic Android .0
