    It hasn't worked - Vince Cable is going to be recalled to the business select committee to give further evidence about the PO privatisation.

    This exclusive interview was published on 4th April and the post office isn't mentioned once despite the National Audit Office saying only a few days earlier that Cable's handling of the privatisation cost the taxpayer hundreds of millions of pounds.

    Always nice to have some compliant journalists in your back pocket I suppose.

    More than 2 billion according to this:
    Indeed, he might have held out for postponement and upped the price. As it is, he valued Royal Mail at £3.3bn – it should have been nearer £5.5bn.
