Better Off Or Not?

How often does minimum wage go up? Only, if tax credits go up once a year, by average of £5.00p/w, unless your wage goes up I don't see how in 2-3 years time you would be better off. The only chance of my wage going up is if they were forced to by the government.

It will restore your honour, make you feel proud, protect your house, give you a job, clean up the neighbourhood, remind you of how great you once were, clear out the venal and the corrupt, remove anything you feel is unlike you... Well, if we assume Tax Credits go up by an average of £5.00 per week, for a 37-hour week that's an extra 13p per hour paid. Over a seven and a half year period the NMW has risen by £1.75 an hour, if we assume the same period then TCs would rise by £1.01 per hour.
