I know it probably isnt possible to but I would like to get all of the photo's from my mobile (memory card) onto a memory stick.
My netbook that I usually do this on isnt working.
As I only use my netbook for this purpose I dont really want to buy another one.
I was looking on Ebay at very cheap Netbooks (ish) for around £50 and wondered , as some have 2 USB ports , could I simply put my phones memory card in one USB slot and a memory stick in the other and transfer the photo's across ?
Thanks for any help :money:

fix the netbook, or use another pc?
if a flash drive is going to be the eggs all in one basket repository of photo's, it's a risky strategy.!!

It might be possible to connect a USB pendrive to your mobile phone using a 'USB on the go' cable.
Not all Android devices support it, but this article suggests you can use an app to test if your phone would work. (haven't used it myself)

You can buy a cable on Amazon for a few pounds.

Using a computer would be easier though.0 -
When you say "put my phones (sic) memory card in one USB slot" presumably you have a card reader that connects to USB. If so then rather than rely on a cheap and probably unreliable netbook you could just use a PC to do it, in the library for free if they haven't prohibited use of USB on their public computers, or for a small charge in an internet cafe. But what closed has said is what you should really be thinking about, flash drive is not a good option for long term storage.0
