Morning all,
A couple of techie questions I'm sure you could advise me on, baring in mind i'm bit of a dunce when it come tech stuff but can follow simple instructions.
The first question, when I go to search for anything Ask seems to do the answering, I used to use Bing which I find far better, I cant find a way do delete ASK or permantley change back to Bing.
Question two, since the above started I also cannot click on links and be directed to the link page, I have to right click on the laptop key
then chose from a list of options to open the link.
I hope the above makes sense and that you can give me some advice?
Regards

What Browser are you using please as depending on that depends where the option is0

IE. came with laptop.0

if you go to tools , Internet options on the general tab there is an option called search, select the settings button, this will then show you the search providers listed, single click on the one you want and then select "set as Default" its in the bottom Right
there is also a tick box called prevent programmes from Suggesting changes to my default search provider0 -
Do I do the same with Windows 8?0

it should still be the same, i assume its just when you use the internet search or is it the full windows search that does it?0
