CPP earlier than 2004

I have used the template letter to try to reclaim CPP payments made from 2001 but have been told by my bank that they will only refund the payments made from 2004 even though I started my policy in 2001. The reason for not paying earlier amounts is that they were not subject to the industry standards at that time. Is this correct or should I contest them not paying?
Thanks

Wait for the response to your complaint. It takes around eight weeks and making a complaint does not automatically prevent automated renewal notices from being sent in the meantime.shoemaker1948 wrote: »can anyone out there give me some advise what to do next
Of course, it's unwise to renew.0
