Should i accept Barclays offer or continue with FOS complaint

By palm complaints off I mean they refuse to deal with it properly and the complainant is forced to escalate the complaint.

But the FCA dont get involved.

As I said, the poster is somewhat confused (and being unable to link to any kind of news article is hardly helping).

I expect "DaveTheMus" should be substituting "FOS" for "FCA", but despite this being pointed out (twice) he seems to be continuing his apparent error.

£5000 per complaint (win or lose) is a ridiculously large amount.

I believe that too. I was recently looking at a case where an adjudicator said that a complainant had no previous experience of investments with any risk at all - despite having been given documentation showing they held £80,000 in shares.

Am still pursuing this situation! Do you have the actual letter or email where Stonebridge tell you in writing that they got your card details from Barclays? Please let me know.
