For limescale, use Viakal, it's brilliant. They also do an antibacterial one which smells quite fresh and strong and is something I'd recommend for an end of tenancy clean. For mould, use Dettol mould and mildew - it's also brilliant, but do be careful as it's bleach based and will take the colour out of carpets and curtains. If the mould is really bad, then the HG mould remover is great. You can get it in Homebase but it is quite dear so I'd go with the Dettol first.

I'd also recommend the Astonish pastes, the oven one is particularly good and can be picked up in most pound shops. That and some cheap sponge scourers will clean most things. A microfibre cloth and some Stardrops is also great for general cleaning, like tiles, kitchen cupboards etc.

Also, when you are cleaning don't forget stuff like skirting boards and lampshades. What I tend to do at the end of my tenancies is write a list of everything in the room that needs cleaning, in the order that I'm going to clean it - so from top down, as in start by going round the top of a room with a feather duster and end by vacuuming. Once a room is done I close the door and nobody is allowed in! That way nothing gets forgotten and you don't end up being charged for a 'professional' clean (even though there's no such thing ...) for stuff that you'd kick yourself for forgetting, like giving all of the nooks and crannies a good dust everywhere and a thorough vacuum. Don't underestimate stuff like giving the windows a really good clean, if the windows are smear free then a room almost always looks better.

Soda Crystals are really good for practically everything as well. Very cheap too and can get packs from most supermarkets.
