Two defaults for one credit card

I defaulted on a Barclaycard Credit Card back in May 2012 and it was satisfied in December 2013. It is showing as a default on my credit report from Barclaycard themselves.
There is also a default for the same credit card from MKDP LLP, showing exactly the same details.
I know there shouldn't be two defaults showing for one account, but how do I go about getting one of them taken off?
Thanks in advance
eta As the debt itself has been satisfied is it worth writing to them to ask of they'll remove the default?

Does the entry from barclaycard say anything about the debt having been assigned at all?
If it does that is the only time a default can show twice (which is visible to you but shouldn't be visible to any one else searching your file).
If not then yes I would write to say you require them to remove their entry (require them not ask them).A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

It does say that the debt was sold on the Barclaycard entry.
From what I understand then, this would only be visible to me and show as one default from the DCA?0 -
That's the way I read it, this topic has been on here a few times.
It makes sense in some ways. I have a card with a DCA and the account history only shows from when they bought it. The default date is correct etc, but if I wanted to know about history before then, I can't, unless I saved a previous credit report.
With the dual entry, I can see the account history before it was sold, which may come in useful at some point.
