I'm so so tired as I type this and have been really upset all week.
Sadly this week I resigned from my nursing post.
After lots of consideration I realised that my heart is just not in it anymore, the 13 hour shifts were almost killing me and I came to the harsh realisation that while I may look back and regret not becoming a nurse, it would never match the regret I would feel for not seeing my kids grow up.
I switched my credits to open university and started my own business to fit around the kids selling cloth nappies and other baby related item. I'm also completing my training to become a breastfeeding counselor.
All in all, I'm feeling so much happier now the pressure is off but will now struggle greatly to pay off the rest of my debt and save for a house.
I'm looking into a DRO for the remaining debt and hope to just draw a huge line under the last 18 months and look forward to a better future for me and the kids.
