Hi, welcome to my diary.
I have decided to start a diary so that I and others can seen a history of my journey.
My debt free date is approx. DEC 2015
I have 6 beautiful children, 2 boys and 4 girls aging from 10 down to 7 months and no 7 is due in Oct.
I am currently just finishing my training as a paediatric nurse and I hope to secure a post in Jan 2016.
I am aiming to pay around £900 per month off the debts so lets hope I CAN DO IT!!!!
I have just finished reading and watching Dave Ramsey's financial peace university and I am truly inspired.
I have my £500 emergency fund and now its all about tackling that debt.
thanks for looking
Foggy.

Hi foggy welcome to the boards. If you post up an SOA (statement of affairs) we can help you trim your budget more? Also have a look at the snowball calculator to see which order to pay your debts off in.

Hi there I did post up an SOA but it resulted in some really horrid comments towards myself and got really out of hand, the MSE team took it down as what was said was really inappropriate. I will post another on here as soon and I work out how to revive it.

Ive had a lovely day today.
3 of my children got awards in the school achievement assembly, they were so chuffed and so they should be. They work so hard at school and are fantastic kids, I always wonder what I did to deserve such wonderful children.
I'm packing tonight as we are going away tomorrow to spring harvest. For those of you that haven't heard of it, its 5 days at Butlins for a Christian focused break with worship and kids groups and its my 30th Birthday. We have all saved for spending money and the children are so excited. This is our first proper family holiday and Im not taking any work with me so its an opportunity to spend time with the kids.
Tonight I have to pack almost 300 items of clothing for us all for the 5 days!!!!!
We needed shopping as we are going self catering to save money, I spent £51 at Ald* but then had a 50% of nappies offer, taking £3 off and the £5 off when you spend £40. Bargain.
Just filled the cars for the journey £40 in hubbys car and £30 in mine, other then that we are all set to go.
    I super excited!!
I have cash for our spending money and Im leaving the cards at home.
