Terms and Conditions for Aldi Favourite 500 giveaway

1. The Promoter is Aldi Stores (UK) Limited, Holly Lane, Atherstone, Warwickshire CV9 2SQ

2. Competition details form part of these terms and conditions.

3. Entry is open to residents of the UK except employees (and their families) of the Promoter or its agents or suppliers and any other companies associated with the Competition.

4. The entrant(s) must be aged 18 or over and proof of identity and age may be required.

5. Use of a false name or address will result in disqualification.

6. To enter the competition, users must adhere to all aspects detailed by the Aldi UK Facebook Page on each post.

7. One winner will be chosen on Monday 7th April 2014. The competition will run on Friday 4th April and close at 5pm on Monday 7th April 2014.

8. Users can enter more than once.

9. Winners will receive either a Medion Lifetab or an Espresso Coffee Machine plus vouchers to the value of £100.

10. The Promoter reserves the right to edit, amend or transfer different products depending on stock availability.

11. The Promoter will announce the winner within the comment thread of the competition post on the Aldi UK Facebook Page. Users will be asked to send contact details via a private message to the Aldi UK Facebook Page.

12. The competition will end on Friday 4th April 2014. A winner will be selected between 9am-5pm Friday 4th April 2014.

13. To enter the Competition all entrants must Like and Comment on the Aldi UK Facebook post, where applicable, and follow all instructions within the Page post.

14. For the duration of the Competition all entrants should not: constitute abuse, defamation, harassment, threatening behaviour, or have harmful intent, of, or towards others; knowingly attempt to upload or attach malicious programs or software that may compromise others’ operating systems; knowingly upload or post information that is in breach of intellectual property laws; attempt to discredit, remove or falsify author credits from any material uploaded or published;

15. The winners will be selected at random by a member of the Aldi UK Facebook Team.

16. Prizes are subject to availability.

17. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or alter the terms of the Competition and reject entries from entrants not entering into the spirit of the Competition.

18. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted, or are unable to comply with these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant.

19. Confirmation of the prize will also be made in writing to the winners, once they have supplied their contact information within a private Facebook message to Aldi UK.

20. Failure to respond and/or provide an address for delivery, or failure to meet the eligibility requirements may result in forfeiture of the prize.

21. The Competition may be modified or withdrawn at any time.

22. By taking part in the Competition, entrants are deemed to have read, understood and accepted all of the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy and agree to be bound by them.

Privacy Policy for the Aldi Favourite 500 giveaway

By entering the Aldi UK Favourite 500 giveaway, Aldi Stores (UK) Limited (“Aldi”) will collect information from several different sources to help us evaluate the success of the campaign.

When you enter the Aldi UK Favourite 500, Aldi will require the following information:

a. Your name
b. Your email address
c. Contact telephone number
d. Postal address

Aldi UK will only use this information if you are chosen as a winner and will be used to deliver your winning prize.
