FREE LISTING WEEKEND 5th 6th April

I bit the bullet and asked eBay live chat...

Basically was reassured that my account has no issues at all and there is nothing to suggest why I would not qualify for a FLW.

It was however, put to me that not every eBay private seller is eligible for every FLW, so I can't be the only one and other MSE users may be in the same situation.

[Perhaps eBay is hoping to identify private sellers who still list when they don't qualify for FLW? In my case, since I'm excluded from the FLW offer, I'll be listing nothing ... and also, this weekend, I'll be buying nothing!]

thanks all for the heads up; it's not in my Announcements but beneath that is a Promotional Offers section, telling me I have FLW this weekend AND also 100 free listings for the whole month of April

I have only been eligible for one flw on my private account over the past couple of months, I have got 5 stars across the board so don't think not being invited is anything to do with the state of your account. At least I have the weekend to get listings ready on my business account.

Does anyone know if this invite-only idea to the FLW is new this year? I have always religiously received the mail every couple of weeks in the last year or so, but in the last few months have not been invited to any. I have 100% feedback of >1000 and 5-star DSRs, so I don't understand.

Damned if I'm paying the listing fees on top of all their other fees, though, so it looks as though it might be 'Goodbye, eBay'...

Well we got FLW this weekend again...

Is everyone listing the full 100 quota each month ?

We do not normally do the full quota, but have started to over the last few FLW's. I am wondering if this will eventually effect eligibility for invites.

It has been fairly recent and this year seems about right for when it started. I've never seen so many FLW though, at one point they were actually overlapping.

Always try a test list though even if you don't get an invite.

I barely manage 15-20 each FLW and sometimes none at all and I rarely bother with the additional 100 free 99p items. Perhaps that is why I am continually able to list for free despite rarely actually getting an invite.

I tend to concentrate on my business account now, hence letting the private one slide.

lol I have a personal personal account and I have a personal business account.

Then I have a Shop and a few other business A/C's

Both personal accounts get invites so far. (both are under different names/paypal accounts)

I've always had invites for the FLW's.


I have 100% feedback, I don't very often list any 99p auctions although have done the last 2/3 weeks.


I never used the full 100 free listings on FLW as I don't have that much stuff, maximum I've listed on FLW is 42 so I have listed about 12 relists yesterday for 1 day and then tonight will list the 38 that are listed now and finishing today for 10 days (as I'm going away next weekend)

Haven't had a FLW invite ever, and nothing shows in my announcements. Been waiting ages for one, so decided to give it a go and see if any fees were applied and they weren't.

So just got a whole bunch of stuff uploaded.
