MyHermes issue with parcel

Signed For is only a signature taken (sometimes!) on delivery. It is not tracked. For a netbook you should have sent it Special Delivery.
You really should read the postage sticky.

Yes sorry I did have it sent via special delivery and just viewed it now and has been delivered so that was good for royal mail,
I've emailed MH and waiting for a reply, as soon as I get anything I keep everyone updated.
Thanks :-)0 -
I never pay for signature as 9/10 times it says delivered / signature obtained anyway.
When you book it theres a row where you can give permission to leave in safe place etc. If you didn't - then Hermes were in the wrong and you would win a claim against them.
But clearly easier for you if Hermes sort it. Keep at em.0 -

Been several days and no reply so far, and thank you for reminding me about this. I just added this to the support ticket because I never put any comments about a safe place on order form.
Currently have a PayPal dispute on my hands, :mad:0 -
Just had a reply from MyHermes and they have offered to refund the postage cost and also the value of the contents!
This is great news because the PayPal dispute closed earlier in my favor (thank paypal) and I sent the person a message and said I've claimed him the money for the item and just sent him a refund!0 -
PayPal found in your favour? Not exactly good for the buyer if he genuinely didn't get the item.
