Want to sell an item but new to ebay

Have never sold anything on ebay but now want to sell our horsebox somewhere (daughter working away from home with horse). Have read through some of the messages here and I think I'm getting the impression that selling it on ebay is probably not a good idea as price of box would be £2-3k and I would have no feedback record. Any thoughts/advice from all you helpful & experienced people out there?
Thanks

Well, it would be cash on collection, right?
The risks of buying from a no feedback seller are less if you can inspect the item you're buying as you pick it upMy TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Yes - cash on collection. Presume it works in the same sort of way as when you buy a second hand car from the paper.0

You could try selling/buying a few bits first to get your feedback up a bit then sell it? It's always better to have a few positive feedbacks than a 0.0

yeah buy a couple of keyrings and used cd's to make a few feedbacks0

You should be fine if its cash on collection, good clear photos will help and a detailed description.0
