Gas BBQ from America
I am in a position to buy a excellent quality gas BBQ in America to bring back to UK but I had a thought (what with the Americans being different on many things such as electricity) - will UK gas containers fit in the American type BBQs? Do you know? The suppliers here have no idea!
Thanks.

Thanks.

No reliance should be placed on the above.

From memory they are about the same size. Ask the supplier what diameter and height gas cylinder they take and then call calor gas or your local garden centre to see if they do one. More important is to make sure that you gat a correct regulator as the fittings might be different. You will need to know whether it runs on butane or propane and the pressure required.
Chances are it should be pretty straight forward.
