I have just been charged £50 for going overdrawn by £3.26 (£20 for being o/d, £30 for them clearing a payment)
On the same day, I paid in a cheque for £3,000 and the following day £360 cash was put in.
Apparently I can reclaim charges once a year - which I done last month:o previous to that it has been 6 years since I was last o/d. What can I say to convince them to give me my money back? Are these charges classed as unreasonable? (Yes...I know it was my own fault, I didn't realise the debit payment would clear so fast)
Small potatoes compared to some of the amazing claims on here, I know but does anyone think I will have any luck? I'm not the best at phoning companies....:o

Who said you can reclaim charges once a year? You can reclaim as many times as you like, although some banks don't like you much anymore after the second try.Reclaimed thanks to this site:
£175 Abbey Mortgage Repayment Fee, £170.03 Capital One Bank Charges £418.07 Lloyds TSB Bank Charges, £2,671.55 Mis-sold Endowment Policy, all for OH0 -
That's what they told me when I phoned last month....once a year, no questions asked.
I suppose they can decide to be awkward if they want to be, if someone keeps phoning up...Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219.
