Parking eye confused

Hi
I just received a fine for 85 pounds from parking eye. It doesn't say why or anything. Only says things like my 29 days are up and I have 14 days to pay else it goes to court.
I'm assuming it's to do with parking but don't no where. Also after googling people say it's a scam and they give you a smaller amount to pay first. Well I haven't even received a different letter.

Start by reading this thread - It should clear everything up:

And the advice to ignore is outdated. Do not bother with any threads older than six months.0 -

Nothing, no information at all? I find that very difficult to believe, not even a code number, place or date. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

I have to agree with The Deep - the paperwork MUST have some info on it. It always mentions the reg number and normally date, time and place of the "incident". Are you sure you haven't ignored previous letters ?"The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri0 -
Obviously it has my car reg and a reference number.
And no I don't just ignore letters when it comes to fines etc thank you very much. Great help0 -
Great help
Great start!
We are trying to help you here - as we have successfully helped tens of thousands over the years who were in a similar position to you. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Well your Notice to Keeper must provide certain information like this
Name
Address
Reg of Car
Date of incident
Duration
Location of incident
Reference number
Pictures of the number plate
And so onWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

This is not a fine!
And you are verging on being yet another timewaster as you have clearly not bothered with the thread - Which is the best and most current advice around on how to help yourself to see these jokers-off.0 -

You've misunderstood - we were just telling you that any thread you Googled which talked about ignoring this, is OLD and out of date advice. Because PE sue people. If you hadn't realised that, and the fact this is NOT a fine at all, then you haven't read the sticky thread helpfully linked for you as you seem to have missed reading it first.
Hope you've read the thread linked, that's the thread to read first before posting. Tells you how to win and we strongly suggest you do the simple appeals explained there or PE will sue. By contrast - our appeals win 100% of the time and we are indeed a great help to many people.
Your description of that letter sounds like it is not the PCN at all - it's the keeper liability Notice isn't it? Have you thrown away the first letter, the PCN in February? Appeal anyway, using the template. But then that's covered in the sticky thread, where it talks about your options if you think your are 'too late to appeal'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
