    Congratulations!

My partner sent his last payment yesterday :T:T:j

It's so good not to have to worry about the IVA any more, just hoping the completion certificate turns up soon and we can start rebuilding his credit and hopefully in a few years get a joint mortgage! :)

Good luck to the rest of you still paying.

  • aww this is such a good news post, it is so good to hear that a few of us are finishing, I hope it helps to offer support to those still involved in their IVA's and they can see there is a 'finish line'.
Our Completion certificate showed up 3 weeks later from Step Change - we didn't even request it they seem to have good systems in place that automatically ended things - phew now onto the clean up!

I too have just finished my IVA, I was with debt free direct, am still awaiting my certificate of completion, they take there sweet time, I still have PPI issues (apparently ?) and have had to sign an assignment notice so any future windfall from the PPI, will have to be paid to my creditors, this was so my IVA could be wound up as the PPI issues were taking too long, so how that will work out I don't know, ah well, just glad its over, finally !!!:)
