All options were explained, as my tinnitus therapist was there, too.

I have one set up and have to practice, now. It seems as if there is improved clarity. I'm usually ok with the phone, so didn't take that option.

When I had a hearing test the other day I was stunned to find out I'd got perfect hearing.

I get sick of saying to 'Youngest what did you say?' I honestly thought I was going deaf.

    Julie and jackieO

Sending good vibes as fast as I can and good luck.

Overcast here so feeling lazy. Will get my (slightly less large) bum into gear later and go to local shops. Fruit and yoghurts are disappearing fast.

DH pleased with his beef stew and soup for lunch and DD and I had a YS chop and veg.

Need to have a look at the bikers book for a recipe for diced pork as I keep making the spicy pork which is nice but fancy a change.

Youngest is back from uni on Saturday :j and oldest DD and fiance are coming over on Monday night so will be a full house.
    Yippee!

    Hugs to all.

Murky all morning, but the sun has just started to peep through, so I might potter in the garden.

Back to the daily grind after yesterday and I feel a bit deflated tbqh :(

Did the shopping and only spent £40 in Aldi and Farmfoods so I am happy with that, I need some fruit and veg from the market tomorrow though, but that won't cost much.

We got a lovely large joint of gammon in Aldi (Actually I bought two and one is in the freezer ) so I am doing gammon, salad, mashed potato and pickles for dinner.

Julie I hope the appointment went well x

    Afternoon all,

I've got to go back in and have my leg manipulated under general anaesthetic. Unfortunately I'm one of the unlucky ones who creates lots of scar tissue. I will just be in over night and after the op will have a machine that bends my leg for me:eek:
Not looking forward to it but has to be done:(

Aww, Julie what a bummer!:( Did they say when this will take place? The sooner the better, I'd say; get it over and done with.

Julie, sorry to hear that but hopefully it will make a big difference.
LW - It must be nice to switch off the boring people!
JackieO - What an understanding boss your DD has, such a lovely thing to hear in this age of bully bosses.

The builders have put up the curtain pole so I am off to iron the curtains and bedding. Just the light fitting to persuade them to do!

Have a good evening. Take care. XX

    Evening everyone :D
My usual Thursday of food shopping this morning and then paperwork all day. We have also set three of the holiday cottages up as we have people booked in from tomorrow.
Lasagne is finishing cooking, pots are all cleaned away and OH's sandwhichs are made ready for tomorrow. I need to put a load of washing on tonight and another tomorrow, hoping to get it all dried and ironed if possible and get some housework done along with finishing paperwork off as won't be around Saturday as going to the Grad National for my friends hen-do :) hoping to win some pennies :D
Thought it was fog/mist here but apparently it is this sand dust and smog, hoping it goes soon and we get this warm weather that was forecast for the past couple of days!!

julie67 - sorry to hear but at least you know and will be getting it sorted now :)

It's good TV night for us tonight as its new 'how I met your mother' and 'big bang theory' tonight on E4

Happy Vibes & hugs for all in need/want them.
Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:
