Side return extension

Anyone had experience with a glassbox side return extension similar to the one in the link below?

Trying to understand specifically about estimated costings and what to be aware of in keeping as much heat in as possible, as the wall is just brick work. Any advice approaching a project like this? We are yet to move into our new house but would like to create a similar space with the side return. Based in Walthamstow, London. Is it even doable on a budget of 20k +/- for example?
