Noisy Fan & High CPU

Yet another problem with my new HP pavilion! Since yesterday the fan has been on constantly and cpu usage has been between 65 and 100% Checked start up and disabled Amazon Manager and Cyber Power2go but that hasn't helped. CPU usage shows Bing desktop at 63%. Bing came with the computer so there shouldn't really be a problem with it running. Tried HP help but it's so confusing, I couldn't get any of the troubleshooting or diagnostics to work. I'm reluctant to mess with Bing as I'm not sure what will be removed, will all the tiles from my start screen disappear? I thought Bing was just a search engine but it appears to be much more. Not very good with computers and this HP is throwing up problem after problem! Any advice appreciated.

You can uninstall Bing desktop from the add/remove programmes in the control panel. Nothing bad will happen.
If it doesn't cure the problem, it can be downloaded again should you need it (I have no idea why you would but the choice is there)

Have disabled Bing at start up and CPU went down. Disabling Bing at start up didn't actually get rid of the search facility so have now had to disable it as a search engine too. Will I think remove all of Bing as I think it just alters how the desk top looks. Fan nice and quiet again.

Disk space was at 100% with 'system' lit for ten minutes on start up, is this normal? It's now settled down.

Bing desktop is just a programme that gives the desktop current bing background etc. Just remove it. It's not really needed.

Agree with completely uninstalling Bing Desktop. Also run PC Decrapifier to get try and get rid of unwanted programs.
