I have a laptop running windows 7.

I have created another user account by going through the control panel-user-create new account etc.

A new account is created.

When I try to enter the new user account I have the following message

"User Profile Service service has failed

User Profile cannot be loaded"

Any idea the cause and how to fix this?
Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems :( Well at least i learn something on the way :D

It might be a good idea to enable the real 'Administrator' account to do this!

type secpol.msc in the search box and hit return ... you should see the 'Local Security Policy' console.
down the left hand side, expand 'Local Policies' and select 'Security Options'
at the top of the right hand side double-click on 'Accounts: Administrator Account Status'
a box should appear in which you can enable this account, now click 'OK' and close all boxes
re-boot the machine and you can now select the 'Administrator' account to log in with .. no password needed.

Create (or delete) any accounts you need from here ... remembering to disable this account when you have finished with it of course!!

we have this sometimes, if the above doesnt work can you set the account as an admin account and log in then reset to std and try again

it sounds like the service has failed and as its a std account it wont re create
