    As to whether you have a valid claim: If you believe you may have, I say "Make your claim and let them prove it is not valid".

    That isn't how it works. They have to show it was suitable and you were eligible. However, any allegation of wrong doing needs to be backed up by evidence. That evidence can be supplied by you or them. If there is no evidence of wrongdoing and you were eligible for cover and it was suitable for you then a complaint would typically be rejected.
