I currently have the Amex card with the £25 fee and am nearing the anniversary.
For the second year I would rather have the everyday cashback card without the fee.
Do I apply for a new everyday card now, wait till 2nd year fee to be taken close original card then apply for a new everyday card I believe fee will be refunded pro rata, or ask Amex to switch my original card to the fee free card?
Thanks
