For customers tied to Spark by their lease

Just for clarity, you can't be tied to any supplier by your lease - if you pay the bill you can choose who you pay it to.
If bills are included in your rent, then your landlord can choose who they pay.

This may not help you, Misiokicio, but for other readers.
Spark may drag their heels about letting you leave, but so long as you don't have a balance more than 28 days old they should not object to you leaving. If they do, (and there are posters on here that suggest they do), raise a complaint, documenting everything.

I'll edit this message in next hour or so, to write everything but right now here it the quick version :) Jenny worked hard today to investigate and sort out this issue on my account( i am really glad she sorted everything out and big thanks to her) and for my surprise and actually happiness right now( hammer of my head) the account is now in credit of over 900 pounds!! I am not due any money at all, refund to be issued asap, account hasn't been reviewed at all, and the credit was building up, I still cant believe of the whole thing, i'll get the dinner first and post back here soon

And regarding the lease,,, we didnt not had a choice to choose the supplier when we moved in,,, I've even contacted Scottish Hydro and they told me that i am bonded to a contract with letting agent and they are unable to get me transferred cause I did tried to move over...

looking at the bill right now for the period of Dec to March-

tariff is debit saver- 730 kWh charged at 21.49p
    119 kWh charged at 8.50p
    GAS 1891 kWh - 4.39p

total charges 297 for the quarter, is this more than average charges around? or is it not bad comparing the rest of the suppliers?

That is excellent to hear. I do hope that Spark Energy also paid your lost interest during this period that you were in so much credit ? Credit to them if they have.

    Best wishes,
    D
