Apple Technician Damaged My Computer

Can I claim compensation if Apple damaged my computer during repair? They have agreed to take responsibility for it but I would like to claim compensation for it as I am now experiencing further downtime on my machine, which is affecting my work.

Depends on what your contract said about limitations of liability and what you can actually prove you have lost in monetary terms by the need for a second repair.

Of cause they probably have said they will fix it as a guesture of goodwill and not actually admitted anything in which case you may find the goodwill dissolves if you start playing up

Wouldn't it also be up to, whether you bought it as a consumer, to be used for business purposes ( work), or you bought it under a B2B sale? Different rules for each sector.

If they've damaged your computer and offering to repair it then your highly unlikely to be entitled to cash instead. You could of course negotiate a settlement

Not instead, as well. OP wants compensation for inconvenience/ loss of earnings as well as a free repair
