    Sick Boy - your advice isn't much good without a reason - care to enlighten us?
    I don't see anything wrong with buying a DECENT universal charger, checking the connections and voltage, and using it, for say £30 instead of £60 for the genuine article.
    Buying the cheapest one you can find off eBay from China however, I wouldn't do unless you're a twisted firestarter.
    As above - Maplin, Argos, Currys, PC World should do the job, but I don't think you'll get genuine ones on the high street.

    I went through three `cheapie` ebay chargers for an IBM laptop in as many months.
    Finally got a german ANKER brand from Amazon which done the job - do a search for that particular brand for your laptop.
