Thinking of Changing from EDF to First Utility
Hi There...I'm currently on EDF Tarrif ending April 2015, I've signed up to EDF Blue Plus Price Promise June 2015 so as not to fall onto their Standard Tarrif & there's no exit Fees.
Done a Comparison Quote & the First Utility ISave v 18 May 15 is estimated to save me £99.
My usage is under average at 2,589 kWh Elec & 10,338 kWh Gas.
As I pay by Monthly Direct debit I want to keep these payments as low as possible, so is now a good time to switch or does timing not matter?, will First Utility as Uswitch Estimate, take out equal monthly direct debits of £67.19 per month (My estimated usage divided by 12) or do they factor in any extras, and does being a new customer make any difference?
I've been with EDF for a few years now because their fixed tariffs are...or were pretty good, so am pondering over making a switch, but don't want to find that I might be charged more than expected as there is an exit fee with First Utility.
Many Thanks - Avenue
