I've had a letter from BarclayCard this morning stating that my claim has been upheld. I remember that I cancelled the PPI shortly after, as I knew at the time it was about as much use as a chocolate teapot. Based on this fact, I only ever paid £97 in premiums. However, with interest, they have now agreed to refund me just under £1200! That has to be the best £97 I have ever spent.
I'd like to say this website and the people on it have been an inspiration with reference to claiming back what is yours. Good luck to everyone else attempting to get their money back too!
