    Looks good to go.

Can see a continuation of the current modus op when presented with a detailed POPLA appeal with a strong GPEOL element - running away.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    Appeal sent!

It is awful how agly it looks like after POPLA system eliminates all formating and line-returns, so all text remains in just one block.

Thanks for your help. I will keep you updated on next communications.

Usual advice is to post in the online box the summary bullet list of appeal points, then say "The details of my appeal are contained in the attached file <filename>" and then attach that file in Word or PDF format. :)

Good advice b!!!467, hope others will do it. I have loaded the Word file today, just for POPLA convenience.

I would like to make a proposition to the forum: to create a spreadsheet where each person appealing for a case would enter main data of his case as a single record. So any new person could download it and identify related cases, getting quick and direct link to them. It would also be useful to obtain statistics: winning rate per Operator & per park location; POPLA winning reasons per Operator & per park location, etc.

The first list of fields I can think about are the ones listed below (in the table each of those fields would be a column). But more experienced users would define the appropriate ones. I have filled it with my case, as a real example.

There are tools in the Web to have this shared file available to all forum users. Maybe a problem would be the “row edit control” so only forum administrator and a case owner can change each specific row. Other option is that only the admins can edit the file, and the users supply the info in a way that copy/paste is possible.

It is just that I would have benefited a lot with that file (saving a lot of time in "forum navigation", being sure I have gone through all related cases, etc.), and the forum could proudly show its efficiency with more detailed statistics.

    Regards.

I don't understand the techy things you mentioned - but I did see the lack of signage at Fistral Beach car park for myself this week on my little jaunts. It is SHOCKING. It's a shame PE are likely to bail out now at POPLA without providing evidence because I would like to see their so called site map of signage because it would show NO SIGNS across the whole beachside, and none beside the cafe & the toilets, the wetsuit hire place, and the Centre of the car park rows. I saw one P&D machine obscured by two white vans and could totally see how people could arrive even in broad daylight and not notice it was P&D.

I realise you did try to pay and display, just saying the signs are not there anyway! Ivorpecheque is aware of this as well, I know.

THANKS! I have just received the notification that "we" won. I have posted it in POPLA decisions threat.

I still recommend what I mentioned above: to create a spreadsheet to register all Cases, with the aim to help newbies to identify similar cases (and reach the post), to get patterns, and to get statistics to proudly show how success this forum is against parking charges.

Something else: have you considered to offer a chargable "service" to give a more dedicated advise to newbies, in case someone prefers to pay something rather than spending several hours going through this forum posts to collect needed info and write the appeal? I would have been happy to pay up to £20 to any of the experienced members for a 20 minutes talk to understand how this works, and get the POPLA appeal writen for me.

    THANKS ONCE MORE, regards,

    Fernando
