Disabled Motoring UK

Some of you might remember a couple of threads we had on here about the disabled motoring charity Mobilise/Disabled Motoring UK and their cosy relationship with certain PPCs. A couple of us have just posted on DMUK's FaceBook page, asking about this relationship, especially with Parking Eye.
Guess what - the thread only lasted an hour or so, before it was removed, and now we seem to have been banned. Do you think they have something to hide?

I wrote to them questioning their cosy relationship. I think the response was written by the BPA.
I don't know how the staff sleep at night knowing thier charity is taking money from companies carrying out deceitful practices.0 -
I also asked them about the fact that they keep banging on about blue badges in supermarket car parks and their stupid "Baywatch" scheme and the fact that the BB scheme does not apply to private land, but answer came there none. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

They seem a little sensitive :
Disabled Motoring UK We have removed these statements from Facebook because we feel they are deliberate attempts to damage the reputation of the charity. We are not prepared to enter into discussions of this nature on Facebook, but have replied to every post we have received. If anybody has a complaint to make about the practices of the charity they should do so in writing to the CEO."The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri0 -

DMUK is a registered charity, registered number 1111826 .
If you think that it is up to no good, and it certainly sounds as though their relationship with the BPA is inappropriate, complain to the Charity Commissioners.
However, do not expect them to support youas the BPA is endorsed by the DVLA.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
