We are going for a test drive as my wife has decided this is the car she likes.
It is less than a year old and has a CVT gearbox, at present we have the Toyota Auris, 07 with their similar box which we manage OK but others seem to dislike.
Have looked at some reviews which seem mixed, so your pros and cons on the Juke please.

Pros - It's a Nissan so should get half decent reliability.

Cons - It's a Nissan, it's a girls car and it's ugly as sin (IMO)

Can probably say exactly the same for your car if I was so minded.

OP go on to what car and read readers reviews that will give you an indication of what owners thing.
  • For the size of the thing, there is less boot space than my ford focus. I rented one once to drive myself and 3 passengers 400 miles for the weekend and ended up with half the luggage piled up on the rear seat between the 2 passengers.

Other than that and the ugliness factor, it was a nice car to drive.

They're not "that" big - they're based on a nissan micra platform from memory.

Certainly not focus sized, nor was it intended to be.

Thanks for the comments, just what I thought, size not important as 2 up is normal. What about the gearbox, any one got one?

Yeah, I realised that as soon as I tried to fit in the luggage. For some reason Enterprise are/were supplying them in the "Ford Focus or equivalent" category.

Can't help with the gearbox I'm afraid, as it was a 6 speed manual that I drove.

I have just part ex'd a Juke. The biggest complaint I have about them is the fuel consumption. Really not good considering the model I had was not 4WD. The road tax isn't cheap either.

They are pretty uninspiring car to drive. But they are good around town and car parks etc as they are easy to park and you are high up so get good forward facing visibility.

Have to say I love my Juke - it's the manual version so can't help re the CVT.

Try the Juke Owners Group website I'm sure they could help....http://www.jukeownersgroup.com/forums.html
