Can you reclaim bank charges on an account that has been closed? I had a bank account for 10 years and closed it last year however know fine well that I had loads of charges?
Can I still claim these charges from the past 6 years if I can obtain the statements - which I do still have?? :grouphug:

All but one of my claims are on closed accounts! The Abbey one was closed 4½ years ago!
If you still have all your statements you don't need to request them so skip to the next step and just ask for the charges back
If you are missing a few you can request the full lot for £10
