  • Forgot to post yday but did pay an extra £5 off TSB OD (on top of my minimum). I also paid £50 off £200 for my dd scout camp in Summer (not really a PAD I guess but a chip of an amount I need to find).

Today is another £1 to VERY so including yday £5 to TSB = £6 PAD

It's a funny thing but the fact of possession and ownership doesn't feel nearly as good as the fact of not having to pay it every month from now on! There's a lesson in there somewhere for me!

Sashanut, what does it feel like for you? (That's our ultimate challenge - being totally debt free. I so want to find the feeling of that!)

Thanks to all for good wishes, I would never have done it without the inspiration from this thread in particular and the site in general. We are all doing brilliantly. Can't wait for payday to PAD some more :) Meanwhile I will enjoy other people's successes! xx

You know PADding is hugely addictive and the good thing on this thread is there's no judgement :). So with this thread being soooo friendly it makes it even more addictive :j

TBH it hasn't really sunk in yet - it's only been a week & the bank account hasn't had time to accumulate much spare cash! I think once we get used to not having to pay out £850 p/m it will sink in. I also suddenly realised I don't need any more STUFF.....so have joined the 'Not Buying It 2015' thread also & find it strangely liberating, plus the 'Make Do & Mend' - & of course this thread too.

    Hi all :j
Just popping in to PAD £19.55 to cc - tkyou TTFTM !!

I find it hard not to spend and sometimes I have whoopsies of varying degrees. But the fab thing about being debt free is that I can have a whoopsie and so long as I don't remain having whoopsies it's fine. Remember my, what was it? £300 whoopsie of the other week! :rotfl:

I soon reigned that in!!!! It had to be done. But all that stuff I bought will come in handy (even my 216 nicorette cartridges LOL)

I'm not fab right now with some sort of virus and still (since new year) a tingling thumb. Plus head still 'aint right (it's been like it for weeks) so hey ho...

But I'll get there by his grace balloons.gif
