I would love to join in the fun . Just one question, are people including their usual monthly payments to their debts as well as the odd few pounds? Just that looking through the thread, there are some big amounts being paid!!0

Hi bilko and welcome. There's no hard and fast rules to PADding - some of us don't even manage payments every day - but the thread helps keeps us focussed on making payments to our debts and/or emergency funds to prevent future debts. By aiming to do this little and often it keeps chipping away at the debts and often smaller amounts such as rounding down accounts or what's left in the purse at the end of the week is more do-able than big chunks. However, sometimes bigger payments are made from selling things, cashback payments etc but I think at least some PADders include regular or minimum payments as well because after all it is all going off the debt. I find that it helps me keep focussed with any spare or surprise money rather than frittering it away as I may have done in the past.
Anyway hope that helps and feel free to join in.
Meanwhile yesterday's total was a step in the right direction
£50.88Every penny's a prisoner
