Erme - have you looked at the price of the capsules on ebay? I don't if they are cheaper there but I am told the Nespresso ones are.

Yeah there are italian firms that do compatible capsules..I had a good night of research on Sabbath evening with excitement. The compatibles are a good buy a long with the offer at John Lewis (limited range but buy 2 packets get one free - works out about 16p a capsule)

I don't know much about other capsule coffee makers asides from the nespresso. That has lots of options. You can even buy plastic nespresso capsules (empty) you fill yourself :) and everything can be reused (youtube is your friend)......

John Lewis or italian compatible for me are cheaper than Mr T at £3 a box...thanks so much though. Not getting rid of the aeropress though as that is just a good cheap coffee maker :)

    Hi All,

Thanks for the invite back... I am still padding and I have subscribed (well I had to the last one!) so I get your emails to keep me motivated. But between work and uni and being a single mum, I don't have time to read the threads every day... :(

I do have apps on my phone though which let me check my account and another to access some of the CCs and request payments so I am still padding and using your emails for motivation... You just don't hear my daily blurb... but maybe that's a good thing. :p

I think the ship has sailed, as I wasn't online, but Mandz I think you could have included that figure... One or two of my small daily pads may have been already included, but the major part of it wouldn't have been posted

I have set up SO to another CC which I wont include figures for, but its all coming down, slowly but surely

You know you really sound like you have your hands full and you sound determined.....It's not spending or having a blip that matters but not having a LBM and not getting back on the wagon after a blip. This is just a life mantra of mine :)

    Blessings
